My first perception of the batteries and their charger was that in comparison to an earlier Chinese purchase, a 20V pruning lopper, the equipment seemed flimsier, of lower quality. That perception faded over two mornings of caulking, injecting insulating gel into single-hung window frames and sashes. It was much easier to operate than my usual air-powered rig, which involves lugging a 65 lb compressor around. The following day I was working outside with it, seeking to dump what was left in an old tube of gel caulking into wide cracks beneath and above a large window. While the inside windows did well at 1.5, I turned the dial up to three for ample power to force the gel deep into the large cracks. This is my second electric caulking gun. Twenty-five years ago I bought one when I needed to inject a dozen tubes of tar into the seams of an antique wooden boat while I crawled along below it in the gravel. That model is no longer in existence, though I used it with great appreciation until its battery failed. This one is heavier and more robust, with a rheostat to control the flow.If anything changes, I’ll update the review, but it is a tentative 5 at this point.

Way to fast! Even on the slowest settingCaulking hardy panel.. you can’t do a better job then a manual caulking gun. Disappointed .. in myself.. and the gun😐

Facilité pour étendre du silicone ou pitch. Plus besoin de forcer. Embout en pointe permettant un travail propre. Facilité pour le nettoyage avant le rangement. Simple a utiliser

Be careful if you are an amateur at DIY projects
I was so excited about this product but this was too much power for an amateur like me. The caulk came out of both sides as the pressure was too much. Be careful if you can’t follow directions from YouTube videos and stick to the manual version. The product itself was very sturdy and powerful. I bought this on my friend’s recommendation, only I wasn’t able to figure it out.

Runs on after plunger pullback instead of stopping the flow
The media could not be loaded.
First, this is a heavy gun and seems like it would be great for large caulking jobs where the flow rate is somewhat high. The problem I have is that I have to run the gun at about 1.5 to 2. The description says that the gun pulls back when you release the trigger to keep the caulk or glue from continuing to run out. On other guns I have had, the pull back speed is at the maximum speed which works well to stop the runout. This gun pulls back at the speed you were running back so if you are running at a slow speed like me, it only slowly pulls back which causes the caulk to flow on. Because of that, I will return it in that it won’t work for my needs. On the other hand, I like having the two batteries and that they will work in Makita tools. The light is somewhat helpful but not bright enough for me. If I was sealing large projects where runout wasn’t a problem, this gun would work fine-just not quite like described.I have arthritis in my wrists and this gun is really too heavy for me to use one handed but that is only my problem and probably will not affect someone else.Overall, a good gun at a good price but not for me as described.

Caulk gun
It’s not bad for the price, it has speed control near the trigger

Eaay enough for us.
We had a bathroom tub that we needed to touch up the caulk for and we got this because everytime we used a manual gun, we got tired quickly and ran into a number of issues like caulk getting stuck and not coming out in or the trigger not able to be pulled. I went with this one because Ive had good experiences with one offpower tools, cordless is always nice, two batteries are better than one, I didn’t want to spend any money to get a brand name one and it worked out. The tub got done quickly and easily and the gun was a little heavy, but not overbearingly so. 10/10 would but again if I needed another one.
